Alan Guth: Is Our Universe Part of a Multiverse

An American theoretical physicist and cosmologist Alan Guth is best known for being one of the fathers of cosmic inflation. Along with Alexei Starobinsky and Andrei Linde, he won the 2014 Kavli Prize“for pioneering the theory of cosmic inflation.” In this talk at Physics@FOM Guth introduces his work and discusses how the exotic idea of the multiverse mixes with the established ideas of inflation.
