So now, when the whole hype about Interstellar is loosing steam, let’s think for a while what are the real implications of interstellar travel. In this talk at the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Cameron Smith explores the biological and cultural challenges associated with the possibility of interstellar space travel. Cameron Smith is an archaeologist from the Portland State University and has extensively published on such topics as anthropology of space exploration and colonization.
