Exploring The Inner Edge of the Habitable Zone

| January 18, 2015 | 0 Comments

In this recent video from the SETI project, Michael Way discusses his newest work on various topics in solar system research, mostly focussing on the study of the habitable zone in the early history of the solar system. Such research can give us a good idea about general habitable zones that scientists hope to explore while on the hunt for exoplanets. In particular, 3-D models can help explore the possible roles of rotation, atmosphere and ocean dynamical transports, cloud feedbacks and sea ice-albedo feedbacks in determining the habitability of a range of planetary environments.
