In this lecture, Prof David Gross talks all about quantum mechanics. Today quantum mechanics is one of the cornerstones of modern physics. But how did it all start? Gross discusses the roots of quantum mechanics and the problems that lead to the creation of the theory. This inevitably turns into a discussion of the work of the early quantum pioneers such as Bohr, Einstein, Pauli, Dirac and others.
