SETI: Dark Energy from the Largest Galaxy Maps

| May 16, 2014 | 0 Comments

Here we have another recent talk from the SETI institute featuring David Schlegel. Schlegel introduces the findings of The Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), which has mapped 200 million galaxies in 2-D, and 1.5 million galaxies and quasars in 3-D. The data was used to investigate the properties of dark energy and was consistent with the simplest modification of Einstein’s laws.
