Quantum Physics: From Mystique to Technology

| May 15, 2014 | 0 Comments

Here’s a talk by an associate Professor Jacob Sherson from Aarhus University and Professor Charles Marcus from the Niels Bohr Institute on the the principles and applications of quantum mechanics. As Prof Sherson discusses, the roots of quantum mechanics are undeniably mysterious, yet, what is possibly even more fascinating is that these strange principles can be applied in modern technology. An example of such remarkable applications would be a quantum computer, which holds the potential of revolutionizing the world of electronics computing. This and other applications are presented after firstly introducing the basic principles of quantum mechanics. For more videos visit the links given below.
