SETI: Artist in Residence Special Event

| April 26, 2014 | 0 Comments

Artist in residence talk series feature authors and artists, whose work might be of interest to both scientists and experts of other fields. This installment features Edward Frenkel, professor of mathematics at U.C. Berkeley, and Marc Weidenbaum, whose new book, for the 33 1/3 series, is about the Aphex Twin album Selected Ambient Works Volume II. Frenkel will talk about his recent book, Love and Math: The Heart of Hidden Reality, which was highly praised by most reviewers, whereas Weidenbaum will expand on his development of a globe-spanning network of hundreds of musicians. Please note that the video starts off a bit dark for some reason, however, the quality improves later on. For more similar videos visit the SETI channel.
