Lisa Randall is an American theoretical physicist specializing in particle physics and cosmology. She is also famous for being the first tenured woman in the Princeton University physics department and the first tenured female theoretical physicist at both MIT and Harvard University. In this video Lisa Randall joins The Deep End hosted by Walter Kirn to discuss some of the issues of approaching physics and science by the non-scientific society and the limits of human understanding. Also, along the way, Lisa Randall touches on the subject of her books and, of course, the Higgs boson. Fore more videos use the links below.
