What Caused the Big Bang?

Probably one of the grandest and hardest to answer question out of all of the possible questions is — what caused the Big Bang? Despite the fact that we know quite a lot about the very early stages of the universe, at the moment of beginning — the Big Bang — the major theories of physics collapse. A new theory called quantum gravity is needed. All of this and much more is discussed by Neil Turok, professor from Cambridge University, including an overview of the currently known laws of physics.
