What Caused the Big Bang?

Probably one of the grandest and hardest to answer question out of all of the possible questions is — what caused the Big Bang? Despite the fact that we know quite a lot about the very early stages of the universe, at the moment of beginning — the Big Bang — the major theories of physics collapse, or rather we require a new theory called quantum gravity. All of this and much more is discussed by Neil Turok, professor from Cambridge University, including an overview of the currently known laws of physics.
