“Curiosity” is a unique show that focuses on a variety scientific and philosophical questions, such as whether there is a God, whether we could we fight off an alien invasion or why sex is pleasurable.

The appeal of the show comes from the fact that it can please a wide and audience by delivering useful and educating information in each episode. Also, a variety of popular hosts will appear in the show including Morgan Freeman who is the host of Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman and the famous actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.

So here’s a short overview of the episodes and some useful links.

 

Episode 1:  DID GOD CREATE THE UNIVERSE?

Professor Hawking tackles the big questions about our universe. He presents some interesting views from his newest book called “The Grand Design” (which you can find  here). Recommended for physics fans.

 

Episode 2:  ALIEN INVASION: ARE WE READY? 

Host Michelle Rodriguez brings together a bunch of great scientists to tackle the question of what would happen if aliens would invade our planet.

 

Episode 3:  WHY IS SEX FUN?

Episode 7: I, CAVEMAN

Episode 8: COULD YOU LIVE FOREVER?

Episode 9: WORLD’S DIRTIEST MAN

Episode 10: HOW EVIL ARE YOU?

Weaving together a Blair Witch-style experiment in which he scares a group of unwitting volunteers while monitoring their brains and bodies, horror author Eli Roth explores humankind’s most puzzling emotion.

 

Episode 11: LIFE BEFORE BIRTH

This episode tells the fascinating story of humans from conception to birth.

 

Episode 12: INSIDE THE TITANIC

The great story of the drowning of perhaps the most popular ship throughout history – the mighty Titanic.

 

Episode 13: WHAT’S AMERICA WORTH?
